Herbie Thorpe & Proudstown TT Lofts

We are located close to the historical Hill of Tara, County Meath, Ireland.  Having a passion for pigeons for some years, we decided to take early retirement and dedicate all our time to the Pigeon Sport.  This has resulted in us starting and building a Champion Breeding Stud and our own Corn/Supplement Shop.

At first, we started Channel racing, France to Ireland.  Much respect is held for the fancy that race these distances, in some tough conditions competing for trophies like the Millar Gold Cup and the Irish National Flying Club Kings Cup.   We competed in the Kings Cup 2015 and Won the Open with a 2-year-old Pied Hen named “Bert’s Girl”, winning with a record velocity of 1,632ypm flying over 680km.

After this success and talking to customers and friends at our shop, we decided to turn our hand to sprint racing.   To be successful in a very competitive environment, we travelled all of Europe in search of Winning Top Breeding Champions.

Over the years we have made many visits to top sprint lofts, predominantly in Belgium to purchase the very best. You will see below (just to name a few), where we have purchased top Sons and Daughters from Top Breeders and Performers:
